Woodland Lane Ceramics & Art Studio opens on Sweetgum Lane in Magnolia

Owners Kinsey and Jesse Lane opened Woodland Lane Ceramics & Art Studio on July 13 at 33218 Sweetgum Lane, Magnolia. The studio offers classes for adults and children, workshops and fun evenings, and includes eight pottery towers, several kilns, worktables and various equipment and workspaces, according to a July 30 release. Ceramics classes take place Wednesday and Thursday evenings for adults and Tuesday afternoons for children; students also have access to the studio on Saturdays.
Kinsey Lane is a high school art teacher and earned an MA in Arts Education from Sam Houston State University. Jesse Lane is a nationally recognized artist, the statement said. The duo plan to offer additional workshops in mediums such as colored pencil and painting.
“We provide everything you need: clay, tools, glazes and firing,” Kinsey Lane said in the statement. “Just bring your artistic curiosity. … It’s also a place where experienced artists can use studio equipment if they don’t have a wheel, gear or oven. them.”
