Junior Architect – New York, NY, USA | Works

We are looking for a Junior Architectural Designer with at least three years of Revit using professional experience.
Individual must be able to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for design and thinking processes, hand sketching, 2D and 3D Revit and ACAD capabilities and presentation skills. We appreciate a flexible, open and curious attitude towards design. As we grow, we want motivated people to play an active role in building our design team. Ideally, this person would have a strong experience or interest in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to a Director, you will work on design packages at various stages of development. Other Required Skills and Responsibilities:
Must have an M.Arch or B.Arch from an accredited school with two to three years of experience and proficient in all conventional aspects of architecture
Must be self-driven, highly motivated and passionate about hotel design
· Must be proficient in Revit Architecture. Other skills are needed in AutoCAD, Adobe products: Photoshop and InDesign.
· Must be experienced in interpreting mood boards and illustrated presentations for conceptualization into achievable building plans. There is already a strong interior design department responsible for FF&E sourcing and selection.
· Excellent understanding of space layout and phases of design drawings.
· Ongoing creation and management of Sugarhouse back office and FF&E Revit library as required.
· Able to assist the internal project management team during CA phases.
