Pine Island Realty merges with John R. Wood Properties
Phil Wood, President and CEO of John R. Wood Properties, today announced the acquisition of Bokeelia-based Pine Island Realty, the island’s leading residential real estate company. The deal became official on Friday, April 1. In business since 1980, Pine Island Realty and its team of approximately 12 agents represent over $100 million in residential transactions annually in Bokeelia, St. James City, Matlacha and Cape Coral. In addition to the company’s staff and realtors, owners Mike Faulkner and Brian Faulkner have joined John R. Wood Properties and will remain active as vice presidents with the company. Two sales offices, at 5400 Pine Island Rd. in Bokeelia and 2959 Oleander St. in St. James City, are being transitioned to John R. Wood Properties offices, bringing the company to 21 locations in the Southwest from Florida.
